Hello! Anyone who wishes to join the Winter 2017 preLPN class held at Career Link should plan on coming to Orientation on Thursday, January 12th. At this orientation, I will explain the details of my class as well as give you some background information about the TEAS test. In addition, anyone who has not taken a TABE test in the last 150 days will be required to take this basic test of math and reading. You do not need to study for this test! This test will simply let me know which skills you have and which skills you still need to acquire. (Those of you who took the test on August 31, 2016, or later ,will not need to re-take the TABE test, but I still would like you to come to orientation).
Orientation will be held in Room 21 in the basement of Career Link and will start at 9am. Brand new students who have never taken the TABE test for me will need to stay until approximately 1230pm. Please do the best you can to arrange to have this day free until 1pm. My class is filled based on the call-in date of the student. Those who attend orientation on the scheduled day are given priority. Please keep this in mind and do the best you can to attend orientation.
